Vision
I believe that the trumpet is a powerful, expressive, and compelling instrument. Its music can inspire impossible courage or give voice to unspeakable grief. The sound of a trumpet resonates with the most meaningful moments of our lives—so much so, that I daresay we need it.
I am privileged to be the steward of such an instrument. As soloist, it is my desire to expand the trumpet’s role in the realm of solo performance and to offer its music to as many people as possible. As a teacher, I aspire to motivate and equip younger trumpet players to achieve their full potential.
