Teaching
Since my move to Tuscaloosa, my time is at a premium (though my rates are not). I teach an enormous section of music appreciation through the university, and my 239 undergrads keep me busy.
I have therefore begun to be rather selective about my trumpet students. I teach all ages and abilities and am always interested in hard-working, eager students. However, I reserve the right to terminate trumpet lessons after one semester if the student is not consistently practicing or routinely cancels lessons without advance notice. My schedule simply does not permit me to spend time with students who do not demonstrate a level of commitment appropriate to their age and ability.
