Get Involved

Like many artists, both historically and in the present day, my career is largely dependent on the partnership of family, friends, and patrons. I am continually indebted to those individuals who have seen fit to further my career by giving of their time, talents, and financial resources.

Many of the initiatives listed on this page will be updated regularly and are indicative of where my energy will be focused in the upcoming months. If you would like to join me in one or more of these projects, I welcome your participation.

Although it might seem that my needs are largely financial, please be advised that sometimes the most meaningful contributions are much less tangible. A few summers ago I visited Chattanooga, Tennessee, and discovered an entire community of people who had been praying for my career without ever having met me. It was a gift I will never forget.

To the people who have already done so much, and to anyone who might be inspired by this site to join their number, I wish to offer my deepest thanks.

Inexpensive Ways to Help

  • Coffee, Calls, and Company: Passing through Tuscaloosa? Come say hi!
  • Collaboration: Are you a collaborative pianist? A percussionist? A composer? (Or anyone else with musical inclinations?) Are you interested in trumpet music? If so, I want to hear from you! Send me a e-mail at your convenience.

Other Solo-Related Projects

  • Sponsor a Recital: If you or your organization would like to sponsor a performance (i.e. helping to cover the cost of personal expenses, piano accompaniment, renting a venue, etc.), please contact me directly to discuss programming and logistics.
  • Help Me to Get Off the Ground (Literally): There are several locations other than Tuscaloosa in which I would like to perform this year. If you think I could find an audience in your city, please consider helping me to fund the cost of my airfare.
  • Do you know an orchestra? I gain invaluable experience from performances with orchestra and wind ensemble. If you think you might be able to connect me with a group of skilled performers, I would be very appreciative.
